First defeat of the season for the Robins

 

The Swindon Robins suffered their first defeat of the 2008 campaign last night, losing by just 4 points away to the Eastbourne Eagles.

 

Despite their home win of 56-37, Rosco's boys couldn't quite find what they needed to bridge the gap.

 

With the scores level entering heat 15, the Eagles pairing of Nicholls and Kennet collected a 4-2 heat advantage which proved enough to take victory.

 

Overall, Robin Leigh Adams notched up a 12 point haul whilst Seb Alden contributed an impressive 10+2 score from reserve.
