Swindon stretch their lead at the top of the Sky Sports Elite League 

 

The Robins cruised to a thirteen point victory over Peterborough and in doing so extended their lead at the top of the Elite League table.

On a night of frantic racing, Swindon conjured an impressive team performance and comfortably repelled the challenge of their opponents.

A characteristically professional performance from Leigh Adams provided the backbone of Swindon's success as the dependable Captain notched up a brilliant paid fourteen point haul.

The always improving Mads Korneliussen provided his skipper with sturdy support with an exciting paid twelve points whilst James Wright's eye catching run of form continued with an excellent paid ten.
Elsewhere, Travis McGowan enjoyed a positive nights work with an eight point score that included two heat victories which delighted the Blunsdon crowd.

Heat fifteen was undoubtedly a contender for race of the season as a determined Leigh Adams stalked Hans Andersen for the majority of the race and nipped past the Danish rider coming off the fourth bend of the final lap.
