Circus performers drop in to Lechlade

 

Fun and frolics: tight-rope walkers played up to the crowds

There were some weird and wonderful beings floating up the Thames in Lechlade last night.

 

And we're not talking about bird species.

 

Acts from the Giffords Circus - who will be performing at The Trout Inn this week - made a short trip down the river to The Riverside, where they enjoyed a barbecue.

 

Arkell's brewery, who recently took over at The Riverside, provided delicious barbecue food - and in return, performers offered an intriguing array of circus acts.
