Frozen Over! 

Cold snap means dancing on ice for Stanton swans

 

This was the scene in Swindon first thing this morning - Stanton lake frozen over as temperatures plummeted to sub-zero over night.

 

Even our SwindonWeb Westie had to wear a coat, and for someone bred for the West Highlands of Scotland that means chilly!

 

Luckily the resident Stanton Park swans had the ice broken by one walker, who then kindly fed them as they tip-toed into the water.
