Individual officers and groups were awarded for their work on operations in and around Swindon and other projects aimed at building better links between the Police and the Community.

One such award went to the Swindon Licensing Officer PC Louis McCoy for his work getting Pubwatch online and developing the old town/new town Pubwatch scheme.

Other projects that were recognised included the Swindon Junior Good Citizen Scheme, the Safer Schools Partnership and a 5-a-side youth initiative to help reduce anti-social behavior in youngsters.
