Swindon Museum and Art Gallery is located in Old Town and boasts many fine displays of Swindon's local history, archaeology and geology - and one of the finest collections of 20th century art in the UK.

 

Not only does the museum and gallery delve into the story of Swindon's Jurassic past and its connections with the Roman Empire and the more recent social history, but it also regularly plays host to travelling exhibitions such as the Turner - Watercolours from the West exhibition.

 

The Swindon Museum and Art Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Best of all - entry is FREE!
