Robins Slash Admission Prices

Swindon have slashed admission prices in a bid to pack the Abbey Stadium terraces for the first visit of Sky Sports this Monday ( April 08, 7.30pm).

The reigning Elite League champions face bitter rivals Peterborough in a meeting which is sure to provide plenty of drama.

And Excalibur Communications Robins co-owner Gary Patchett has decided to cut admission to try and bring in a bigger crowd.

Adults will be charged £12, concessions £8 and all children under 16 will be free.

Patchett has voiced some concern over worrying crowd levels in the opening three home meetings of the season.

He said: "I fully understand it's been a bitterly cold start to the season and some supporters don't want to stand in the freezing cold."

"But we are the reigning champions, we have just won the Elite Shield and we have now slashed admission for Monday's meeting against Peterborough."

"I'm not sure what more we can do. It does appear from the forecast that the temperature is about to rise so I sincerely hope we see a bumper crowd on Monday which will help create a super atmosphere in front of the Sky cameras."

Season ticket holders are reminding to bring with them the programme from Thursday's home meeting as this is a double issue to include the Peterborough racecard.
