Swindon Rowing Regatta 

Oar-some sight as boats compete on Coate Water for the first time in 10 years 

 

For the first time in a decade, teams from across the region were invited to take part in a rowing regatta at Coate Water in Swindon aimed mainly at those new to the sport.

 

Olympic heroes Steve Redgrave and Matthew Pinsent raced some of their earliest regattas in Swindon and increased membership at Swindon Rowing Club this year - plus a new pontoon - means more events are hopefully planned.

 

Looks like the perfect place for it!
