Sporting Dinner Raises £££s for Swindon Youth Charity

Save Clivey & Twist campaign boosted by superstar evening at Blunsdon House Hotel

Brought together by former Swindon Town chairman Cliff Puffett, the evening included a question and answer with the likes of STFC legend Don Rogers, former Swindon Robins speedway rider and now manager Alun Rossiter and telephone interviews with Swindon golf star David Howell and former champion jockey John Francome, all compered by BBC Wiltshire's Sean Hodgetts.

The event and raffle, organised by the Rotary Club of Swindon, helped raise thousands of pounds for The Clivey Project & Twist Campaign, a joint charity based in Pinehurst & Penhill that provides a service for young people from six right up to nineteen that is currently under threat and who desperately need to raise £20,000 to continue doing their vital work at the John Moulton Hall.
