Watch The Rugby With Arkell's

Enjoy a pint and a bite at one of these Swindon managed pubs
Arkell's managed houses in Swindon are enjoying another fantastic RBS 6 Nations Championship this month.
After the excitement of the Rugby World Cup last year, this season's 6 Nations tournament is already proving to be an equally thrilling contest with England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France and Italy all battling it out for the ultimate prize.
Do England have what it takes under the watchful eye of new coach Eddie Jones, or will Ireland retain the trophy and gain their 14th triumph in the competition?
Food & drink
Of course, no great rugby match is complete without a refreshing brew! Below is a list of the top local Swindon pubs where a great pint is guaranteed - plus a screen or three to enjoy all the big game action.
All the pubs have separate eating areas too if you fancy making a full evening of it with a bite to eat before kick-off.
The Southbrook

The latest pub to join the Arkell's stable and with perfect timing too now the 6 Nations is on. With one big screen and five others, their function room makes a great sporting venue for live match action.
Even better, their separate restaurant room means you can enjoy a relaxing meal before anyone's started singing Sweet Chariot.
The Sun
Coate Water
Always a popular family pub, The Sun has plenty of room for enjoying the rugby and something to eat over the coming weeks.
The Runner
Wootton Bassett Road, Town Centre
The Runner on Wootton Bassett Road in Swindon has recently undergone a complete transformation, with a separate sports and bar area ideal for watching the rugby.
The Tawny Owl
North Swindon
Another Arkell's pub with screens in all the right places - five in all, The Tawny Owl is always busy when there's a big game on the box. Some dining areas have their own screens too for watching while eating - or just catching a glimpse of the score!
The Kingsdown
Upper Stratton
Watching rugby can be thirsty work, so being right next door to the brewery you can be sure The Kingsdown will never run dry - even if England win it!
The Moonrakers
Stratton St Margaret
One of Arkell's biggest pubs with a bar area designed perfectly for watching live sport. From football to the Grand National, F1 to rugby, you'll probably hear the cheers in Swindon town centre if England lift the trophy in March!
The Saracens Head
AJ the landlord love his sports so a good atmosphere is always guaranteed in the bar at The Saracens. The lounge bar and restaurant room opposite makes this pub ideal for those who aren't rugby mad too.
