Roves Farm Swindon
Roves Farm
We all know baby Jesus was born in a manger, so how better to celebrate the Christmas period than getting up-close and personal with some of the farm animals present at his birth (not the actual ones, obviously)...

There will also be a Elves' Workshop which is open all day for children's Christmas crafts. Why not make sparkling Christmas cards, lanterns and tree decorations to take home.

For more information visit the Roves Farm website via the link below.

Popcorn, Pepsi and Pick 'n Mix. Surely a kid's dream! And with an abundance of Christmas films, it'll be hard to drag them away.

Maybe hold back on the ice cream though - unless they're feeling brave, brrrr!

Take in the Tropics!

Butterfly World Studley Grange

One thing's for certain Christmas is set be a cold one! So why not get a taste of the tropics at Butterfly World off the M4's Junction 16.

They've got hundreds of butterflies flying about plus loads more to see including outdoor animal paddock with ducks, geese, rabbits and goats.

The next door craft village is also a great place to explore and pick up a few presents.

This one is more for the adults, with master classes in plaster-casting.
So why not go down for an afternoon with friends, or even save on the last-minute Christmas shopping and give a more personal gift this year.

A chance to have fun while creating your very own work of art - or perhaps a personal Christmas gift?

And...for those still desperate!
