Danny Wilson confessed he was happy with a point despite having a late penalty call turned down.

 

"Billy [Paynter] was blatantly fouled, but the referree gave it the other way. Unbelieveble!" the Town manager fumed at the final whistle, before adding:

 

"We had our chances but they are a good footballing side, and I'll take a point." 

 

In a game largely dominated by each defence, Swindon were fortunate to have Gordon Greer back to bolster Town's back four as Orient churned out the better of the chances.

 

Swindon's front two of Austin and Paynter unusually quiet on what was a poor playing surface, with Pericard also failing to make a break through as a second-half subsitute.

 

The deadlock almost broken in the final minutes, when Paynter found space in the box and looked to be impeded with the goal in sight - only for the referree to controversially give the decision the other way.

The draw extends Town's unbeaten run to thirteen games.
