Defensive woes meant an early Carling Cup exit for Town after Orient came from behind.

 

McGovern gave Town a deserved lead with a low shot just ten minutes before half-time.

 

But two goals in five minutes after the hour, both the result of hesitation in the Town back four, left Swindon chasing the game.

 

"We obviously didn't learn our lessons from Saturday," bemoaned a disappointed Danny Wilson.
