Swindon's climb up the League One table continued thanks to Vincent Pericard's first league goal in a Town shirt. 

 

The striker netted the winner with 17 minutes remaining, just three minutes after Walsall had equalised.

Sheehan had earlier opened the scoring with a 10th minute strike, but Walsall got themselves back in to the game after the break despite Town dominating pocession.

"That was one of our best performances of the season so far," commented a delighted Danny Wilson.
