Ten-man Swindon had a night to forget as non-league Crawley dominated.

 

Despite taking a 2-1 lead into half-time, Town were always surprisingly second best to their Blue Square Premiership opponents before - and after -Jonathan Douglas was sent-off in first-half injury-time.

 

The killer goal arrived in the final two minutes of extra time, as Ben Smith struck just as penalties beckoned. A Michael Rose own-goal having levelled matters in the 69th minute.

 

"We weren't good enough in any department tonight," groaned Danny Wilson, "Crawley were better than us, simple as that and they deserved it."
