New manager wanted

Swindon Town are looking for a new manager.

Said his goodbyes:

Paul Sturrock, who was in charge at the

County Ground for just over a year

As expected, Paul Sturrock resigned today to take up the manager's position at Plymouth Argyle.

It is understood club captain Ady Williams and Youth Team coach Dave Bryne have been put in temporary charge of team affairs.

A press conference has been arranged for Tuesday morning.

"Nothing surprises me about Swindon town. The hole clubs a mess. Best of luck to him. I couldn't work for that board knowing there's a better job on the table. If it's as bad as everyone think it is I don't blame him, especially if it was for more money. We must be the laughing stock of the football league.
