Christian Montano scored on his debut as Swindon eased to only their second away win of the season.

 

In a game Town largely dominated it was ironic that both their goals came on the break.

 

The first after 39 minutes when De Vita provided the space for Jake Jervis to clinically finish from the edge of the box.

 

The second an equally impressive strike in the second-half from new loan striker Montano, who shot low from 12 yards. 

 

Flint back

 

With Aden Flint back in the Swindon back-four, Accrington were restricted to fighting for scraps and relying on the long-ball - effort that Paolo Di Canio was keen to praise at the final whistle.

 

"Our new signings gave us fresh energy up front but our good defence was the key. It allowed us to play and express ourselves," he commented.
