Paolo Di Canio threatened to cancel the players' Christmas party and RESIGN in a furious post-match rant.

 

After Swindon were denied victory in the final minutes, Di Canio vented his anger at his players and the local media with bizarre threats to:

 

- cancel the players Christmas party if they failed to beat Morecambe

 

- and RESIGN if he wasn't allowed to sign new players in January

 

The manager was clearly troubled after seeing his players relinquish the lead in the final minutes when Dan Woodards headed home against the run the play.

  

Paul Caddis had given the Robins the lead with his second individual effort of the week - this time a 20 yard run and finish that stunned the Rovers defence.

 

And had Gabilondo not wasted a golden chance, Town would have been home and dry before Rovers converted their only real chance of the second-half.

 

Despite the reaction of the manager, Swindon remain 6th and unbeaten in 14 games.
