Town completed a South Coast double to move up to 5th in League One.
 
After their away victory at Portsmouth on Tuesday evening, Paolo Di Canio asked his players to return to winning ways at home following their first defeat in a year against Orient.
 
And after bright start, Matt Ritchie (ironically a Bournemouth transfer target) sent Swindon on their way in style with a superb long-range effort.
 
That was followed up sweetly by Andy Williams, who crucially made it 2-0 before Bournemouth were denied a way back when Foderingham saved from Matt Tubbs.
 
Any hope for the visitors was then extinguished by Ritchie's free-kick second, before Adam Rooney wrapped it up with a good finish at the end.
 
"Apart from our play just before half-time when we gave them [Bournemouth] a way back, I am very pleased today," admitted Di Canio, who singled out praise for Man-of-the-Match Nathan Thompson.
 
"He should be very proud of his performance," the manager added, "for me, he was clearly the best player on the pitch."
