Town staged a late comeback to earn a point and stay in the play-off places.

 

After going in at half-time two-nil down following a brace from Coventry's lively striker, David McColdrick, Di Canio threw on Adam Rooney, James Collins and Alan Navarro early in the second-half in an attempt to change things.

 

But only after Coventry's key man John Fleck went off injured in the 73rd minute did Swindon finally find a way back.

 

First Gary Roberts struck in the 77th - before Collins dramatically volleyed home to level matters three minutes later.

 

And had Rooney controlled the ball better with the goal at his mercy just after, Town could have grabbed an incredible third.

 

"We defended badly, really badly for their goals," Di Canio admitted, "but we showed the attitude I asked for and we could have won it."

 

"I need another striker in this League, though," the manager warned, "we must have more quality in front of goal."
