Town moved up to 3rd after another emphatic victory.

The Robins were two-up at half-time after a flurry of goals just before the break.

Andy Williams scored against his old side on 24 minutes before James Collins followed up four minutes later.

Long-ball Yeovil then replied through James Hayter's header but Darren Ward toe poked home Swindon's third almost immediately.

New striker Chris Martin then made an appearance in place of Williams and impressed despite chances for both sides falling away.

A scrappy second-half was rounded off by Collins making it 4-1 in the dying minutes after Yeovil had threatened without converting.

"We played with focus and determination," Di Canio commented, "and we must now plan for Tuesday."
