Swindon got their promotion hunt back on track after a dominant away performance.

 

The victory was set up by a double first-half strike from Raphael De Vita, who netted from close-range just on the half-hour before a second effort was deflected in three minutes later.

 

Oldham in contrast had to wait until the 50th minute before finally having a shot on goal.

 

"I am very pleased with my players today," commented an upbeat Di Canio, "especially Danny Hollands and Chris Martin who are now understanding how to play under me." 

 

Town rise to 7th.
