Paolo Di Canio hailed a 'fantastic point' as Swindon grabbed a deserved late equaliser to stay fifth in League One.

 

"Once again I have to mark my attention to the performance because it was a fantastic point," the Robins' manager said.

 

"Against one of the best sides in this league and in the way we came back makes me more than proud because my lads did a fantastic job."

 

In a rain-lashed game watched by 1,300 travelling Town supporters - where the referee made a pitch inspection at half-time - Swindon went behind to a 20-yard strike just before the half-hour.

 

But a strong fightback provided chances for both Matt Ritchie & Chris Martin before Town's determination was rewarded with five minutes to go.

 

A composed Andy Williams the man who slotted home from 25 yards out after the Bournemouth keeper was left stranded after a failed clearance.
