Paolo Di Canio refused to commit his future to Swindon Town after watching his players fight for a point live on SKY Sports.

 

After a week of take-over turmoil in which the manager finally made his true feelings know in an official statement yesterday, Di Canio would only answer questions on his players' performance post-match.

 

When asked whether he would be in charge for Town's next game on Tuesday against Colchester, the Swindon boss rebuffed questions by saying "my players have been incredible".

 

In emotional scenes at the end of the gamean, Di Canio appeared to have tears in his eyes as he applauded Town fans at the final whistle.

 

Adam Rooney had earlier equalised from the spot after Crawley took a first-half lead with a penalty following a McCormack foul.

 

Swindon drop to 4th.
