Swindon moved up to 7th in League One - and just one place off the play-offs - after an amazing first win on the road this season.

 

Town demolished Rotherham after surviving a tortuous first twenty minutes during which the home side hit the bar and should have taken the lead on at least three occasions.

 

But after gradually settling in to the pace of the game, Swindon started to create chances of their own.

 

And when Alex Pritchard was fouled on the edge of the box just after the half-hour, the Robins took their chance in some style when the Town midfielder himself fired in a pin-point free-kick.

 

It was a goal that changed the game as Swindon took the upper hand decisively again on the stroke of half-time when Luongo had a shot deflected to make it 2-0.

 

Ajose then heaped on the misery by tapping in number three before Dany N'Guessan answered the travelling Town supporters' cries of 'we want four' by slotting home the finale in the last minute.

 

"What more could I ask for?," commented a delighted Mark Cooper, "man for man we were superb today."
