RESULT: Swindon Town 1 Preston North End 0
Swindon scorer: Smith 56
SORRY, NO POST-MATCH SWTV TODAY. BACK NEXT SATURDAY.
Michael Smith finally gave Town fans something to cheer about with a second-half winner to end a nine game winless streak.
The striker slotted home from the spot after Swindon Man-of-the-Match, Ben Gladwin, was fouled in the box eleven minutes into the second-half.
The goal was just desserts after Mark Cooper's players dominated the re-start and continued to have the better the things after going ahead.
""The team we put out today was full of energy and desire, and carried on from the performance last week," the manager said.
