The fixtures are in!
The Samba football of the summer is surely set to continue with Scunthorpe Utd's arrival at the County Ground this August
Swindon Town FC get their 2014/15 league campaign underway with a tricky home tie against newly promoted Scunthorpe Utd on the 9th August at 3.00pm.
Other notable ties in the opening half of the season include a home tie against Sheffield Utd (who pipped Town to 7th place last season) on the 20th September, an away trip to the recently relegated Yeovil on the 18th October, and a tasty home fixture with local rivals Bristol City on the 15th November.
The festive period is always a favourite with football fans, and this year Town travel to Walsall on Boxing Day, followed by a home fixture against Port Vale on the 28th.
The season concludes on the 2nd May with a home tie against Leyton Orient. The parade of the League 1 title should take place on the pitch shortly afterwards (you can't beat a bit of optimism!!)
