Raphael Branco scored his first goal in a Town shirt to grab a well deserved point and cap a good first month of the new season.

 

Town's possession-style approach had Coventry pinned back for the majority of the game but they still had to come from behind after getting caught on the break just before half time.

 

Josh McQuoid capped a quick move in the 41st minute that saw the visitors shock the home crowd with a pitch-length series of passes following a Town corner.

 

But with Luongo and Kasim continuing to show their class in midfield, Swindon kept carving out space in front of the Coventry defence.

 

The moment every Town fan was waiting for finally arrived with eighteen minutes to go when Branco superbly found the equaliser with a header.

 

"I thought we played well enough for all three points," commented Mark Cooper, "but given our injury worries I'll take a draw after we fell behind.

 

"The two week break coming up is just what we need at the moment."
