MK Dons fought back in the second-half to send Town down to 5th.

 

After Jon Obika gave Swindon the perfect start with well-taken finish inside the first ten minutes, Town's 1,300 travelling fans must have been rubbing their hands with thoughts of another emphatic win on the road.

 

But when the home side upped the intensity as the half progressed, then came out fighting after the break, the gaps in the Swindon defence started to open up.

 

First Yaser Kasim got caught in possession on the edge of his own box to allow Dele Alli to fire high in to the net before Anthony Kay clipped home the winner after Town switched off at a set-piece.

 

"We defended poorly for a ten minute period and it's cost us the game," admitted a disappointed Mark Cooper.
