Town are just one point from Bristol City on top after seeing off the Posh with goals either side of half time.

 

Andy Williams slid in the opener just after the half-hour after some great work from Harry Toffolo.

 

And when Jon Obika's diving header then made it 2-0 immediately two minutes after the re-start, Swindon were cruising.

 

Good chances then fell to the home side before a goal in injury time set up a tense finale - which Swindon survived.
