Ben Gladwin came off the bench to make it four wins in a row and send Town's new young fans home happy.

 

The Robins' substitute rose the highest with just four minutes to go to grab the winner in front of 2,000 Swindon schoolchildren on the Stratton Bank.

 

The kids had been given free tickets as part of a new initiative organised by the STFC Supporters' Trust, and after watching a physical Fleetwood side largely 'park the bus' it looked like they were all going to witness a disappointing bore draw.

 

But when Harry Toffolo's pin-point curling cross was perfectly met by Gladwin at close range, a victorious first match at the County Ground will be the enduring memory for many.

 

Crucially, the goal keeps Town second in League One, just a point behind City at the top.
