A quick-fire double gave Oldham Athletic the spoils at a chilly Boundary Park tonight, in what can only be described as 60 seconds of complete madness for The Robins.

 

Falling to a second defeat in three games, Swindon were behind as early as the 10th minute.

 

Conor Wilkinson's surge down the right wing was followed by a deft cut-back for the on-rushing Mike Jones, who did superbly to slot past Foderingham with his left foot shot.

 

Swindon were rattled, and just 50 seconds later - it was two.

 

The lively Wilkinson snapping up a misplaced pass from Massimo Luongo, who made no mistake in the resulting one-on-one with the Town keeper.

 

The travelling Robins desperately looked for a response, with midfielder Ben Gladwin coming close on a couple of occasions, but in the end it was Australian Luongo who was to redeem himself for his earlier error.

 

His speculative shot catching out everyone, including the flailing keeper Jake Kean - on-loan from Blackburn Rovers.

 

Despite the introduction of Andy Williams late on, the equaliser ultimately eluded Town, much to the delight of Bristol City supporters everywhere.
