Swindon Town's slim play-off chances look to be virtually over after a second consecutive draw away to fellow promotion chasers Coventry.  

 

Now eight points adrift of 6th position, Town started the game brightly, and came close to taking the lead through Anton Rodgers - only to see his well struck freekick sail agonisingly wide.

 

Further chances fell to the visitors in the second-half with Jonathan Obika coming particularly close, but it was substitute keeper Tyrone Belford (in for the injured Vigouroux) who had to be at his best in the closing minutes - superbly tipping over Darius Henderson's goal bound volley.

 

Town manager Luke Williams spoke after the match "I think both teams had shots on goal but nothing maybe until the end - Tyrell Belford making a fantastic save - but nothing as clear-cut as we’d like."

 

"You want to score - you can't win a game of football unless you score but it's important we start to keep clean sheets."
