With the start of the League One season just a little over a week away, Swindon Town brought their County Ground preperations to a close with a 3-0 defeat to Swansea City.

 

In truth, the scoreline was a little harsh on the Wiltshire side, with Town dominating large periods of the first half and testing the Swansea keeper on numerous occasions.

 

Branco coming closest to opening the scoring for the home side with a power driver that Gerhard Tremmel did well to turn away.

 

The second-half saw the Premier League team make a whole host of changes, and those changes soon paid dividends with a quick-fire double.

 

Andre Ayew striking low and hard into the bottom corner to make it one, before Jay Fulton glanced a header past Vigoroux just moments later.

 

Modou Barrow added the icing on the cake with 20 minutes left on the clock - latching onto a superb long-ball and slotting past the Town keeper.
