Jekyll & Hyde Swindon stumbled again as a physical Walsall side ran out comfortable winners.
But, in fairness, it was two spectacular goals that sank the Robins.
After the high of three goals and a clean sheet against in-form Rochdale in midweek, Town ran in to another side on a good streak but this time failed to get ahead.
And when the visitors opened the scoring themselves with a Beckham-esque 40-yard lob from 'Turkish Messi' Otzumer, any confidence in Luke Williams' young side seemed to evaporate.
Immediately after the re-start Walsall also hit the bar before Oztumer pounced again from an incredible long ball to effectively end the game with a 51st minute volley.
The overall performance being one that the Town manager found baffling.
"Maybe after the first goal we feel less energy and the team feel defeated which is a mental weakness that is potentially a problem," Williams sighed.
“We looked like we had plenty of energy in the Rochdale game and we attacked quickly with purpose, but today we looked like we weren’t at the races and we didn’t have the initiative that we did the other night.
