Swindon 3 Gillingham 1League One
RESULT: Swindon Town 3 Gillingham 1
Swindon scorers: Ince (59), Obika (61), Branco (75)
Gillingham scorer: McDonald (10)
Swindon Town came from behind to secure a second consecutive League One victory this afternoon.
Although still sitting in the relegation zone, the confidence boosting victory does give Town hope - bringing the gap to safety down to just 3 points.
Gillingham took the lead 10 minutes into the first half, before three goals in 20 second-half minutes gave the Town faithful something to shout about.
Town head coach Luke Williams was delighted with the improvement in the final third: "It feels more like last season when we were capable of winning from behind and we were able to score goals early, score goals in the last minute and it feels more like that.
“We feel like a threat all the time.”
