Swindon 3 Stevenage 2

League Two

RESULT: Swindon Town 3 Stevenage 2
Swindon scorers: Norris (9, 62 pen), Anderson (31)
Stevenage scorers: Newton (51), Martin (89)

Swindon Town's decidedly dodgy home form was finally put to bed (for now at least) as they hit three past Stevenage at the County Ground this afternoon.

Town made their intentions clear from the start and took the lead after just 9 minutes - Luke Norris sliding the ball home at the far post after Chris Hussey's deep corner.

Then just 4 minutes later - it was two! Loanee Keshi Anderson's bursting run rewarded with his first goal since joining from Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day.

Stevenage were briefly back in the game shortly after half time through Danny Newton, but Town soon regained the two goal advantage - Luke Norris slotting away from the penalty spot for his sixth goal of the season.

An 89th minute goal for Stevenage gave Town a further scare, but they held strong for an important 3 points.
