Swindon Town's Mark Marshall
Mark Marshall
The 2008/09 season is officially
underway, and with the latest Town signing Mark Marshall settling in, we paid the boys at SN1 a visit as they posed for their official team photo.

Get to know the boys...

Ever wondered who's the biggest joker on the squad?

Who takes the longest in the shower?

And is the rowing boat celebration here to stay?

We asked some of Town's top players to reveal all below!...

Lee Peacock

Swindon Town's Lee Peacock
Who will get the most fines?
Patrick Kanyuka or Jerel Ifil by a mile! Always late, never listen.

Who will take the longest in the shower?
Blair Sturrock. He likes watching people in the shower.

Who will be the biggest joker?
I'll go for JP, he's just got too much time on his hands.

Who will score the most goals?
Got to say Coxy.

Is the rowing boat here to stay?
I think everyone's got the rowing boat at the moment, but it depends on who scores. I think there's gonna be a different celebration for everyone that scores.

Who will be the teacher's pet?
Interesting, you've got three. You've got Lilian, Easty and Has. If I've got to go for one though I'll choose Easty.

What do you think of the newly-formed Robinettes?
Yeah good, get the crowd going. And it's a bit of entertainment for the crowd. Good idea!

What are your aims for the season?
At least play-offs. That's got to be the minimum we look for. Make this place a fortress, pick up some points away from home, and I don't think we can go wrong. We've got a big enough and strong enough squad now, so we've definitely got to be looking at play-offs at the very least.

Anthony McNamee

Swindon Town's Anthony McNamee
Who will get the most fines?
Pat Kanyuka, because he's unpunctual.

Who will take the longest in the shower?
Probably Jerel, he's a bit of a poser.

Who will be the biggest joker?
I think JP at the moment.

Who will score the most goals?
Probably Coxy.

Is the rowing boat here to stay?
I'm not too sure because it's JP and Coxy that organise that. I don't
know about the rowing thing, don't know if I could do that.

Who will be the teacher's pet?
Pat. Budgie loves him.

What do you think of the newly-formed Robinettes?
Well I've had them before at Watford, so I think it's a good thing.

What are your aims for the season?
To get promotion with the team. More crosses, better team than last season.

Simon Cox

Swindon Town's Simon Cox
Who will get the most fines?
Patrick Kanyuka, because he's lazy.

Who will take the longest in the shower?
Lilian Nalis because he's got a girl's haircut.

Who will be the biggest joker?
JP.

Who will score the most goals?
It'd be wrong to say me. But me.

Is the rowing boat here to stay?
We've got different ones coming up. That's all I can reveal at the moment.

Who will be the teacher's pet?
Easty.

What do you think of the newly-formed Robinettes?
Yeah they get the crowd going, and they get to perform as well. Could've been a bit older, but never mind!

What are your aims for the season?
If I get 31 goals it'll be a celebration out of this world. But I'm just aiming to play as many League games as possible and stay injury free.

Jerel Ifil

Swindon Town's Jerel Ifel
Who will get the most fines?
Me. I just have a knack of getting fined. Usually my earring, or being late.

Who will take the longest in the shower?
Easty.

Who will be the biggest joker?
I'll say JP and Hasney.

Who will score the most goals?
Billy.

Is the rowing boat here to stay?
No, not at all. Terrible celebration! I hope there's a better one. I don't really celebrate the goals, I just watch and judge them!

Who will be the teacher's pet?
Lilian, all day.

What do you think of the newly-formed Robinettes?
I've only seen them once. They seem to have a nice routine, so with a bit more practice maybe...!

What are your aims for the season?
A lot of clean sheets and five goals.

Jon-Paul McGovern

Swindon Town's Jon-Paul McGovern
Who will get the most fines?
So far Jerel's up there with the fines so he's not too happy with that. We've got a committee and I'm basically the mouth-piece for collecting the money, so the boys aren't enjoying it. Trying to get a tenner out of most of those boys is like blood out of a stone.

Who will take the longest in the shower?
Craig Easton's up there. He likes to take his time getting a bath, and I have to wait about an hour after the game - and we're travelling in together, so it's not a good time.

Who will be the biggest joker?
I think there's a few candidates up there but I think the surprise one could be Lilian. He's new in to the dressing room but so far he's proving that he's up for the banter. It's already started in the changing rooms, we've got the lockers with look-a-likes being put up, so if you're handing it out you've got to be able to take it. It's just good for the team morale.

Who will score the most goals?
We've got some good strikers up there, but probably at the moment I think it's going to be between Coxy and Billy. I think if Macca keeps creating chances on the left and hopefully I can create chances on the right, then we're gonna get a few goals between us for the strikers.

Is the rowing boat here to stay?
We're going to try and make a new one up for each home game, and hopefully we can get a few goals away and go a bit mental in the corner.

Who will be the teacher's pet?
Definitely Craig Easton. I think the gaffer's actually taking him under his wing. He's staying with him and bringing him breakfast in bed, and it's definitely a cosy little number he's got there with the manager. He brings him an apple every day.

What do you think of the newly-formed Robinettes?
They're not too good for the warm-up. I think the guys are keeping an eye on what's going on over there instead, but by the looks of it they've got some nice pom-poms.

What are your aims for the season?
I want to play as many games as possible, and make sure the right-hand side of the pitch is mine. I want to play and start as many games as I can, and try and get 10 goals this season.

You've got to go in to every game thinking this could be your chance to prove yourself to the manager, so I think every game is going to be good. It would be nice to get some good results at home and give the fans something to go home and talk about.
