With the 08/09 season fast approaching, Town boss Maurice Malpas has his eye on a new target to complete his squad.
Former Plymouth Argyle and Leicester city midfielder Lilian Nalis could be on his way to the County Ground, after training with the squad this afternoon.
The Frenchman says he has his heart set on playing English football, and could bring a wealth of experience to the team.
Malpas told us: "His name was brought up a long time ago.
"I'm delighted that we've got someone who is desperate to come here and play."
A French squad have offered him a contract, but it looks like Nalis could be on his way here.
And although there hasn't been much success in the transfer market, Malpas is adamant that it's not a concern for the club.
"I don't have any quarms about starting with the team I've got now.
"I'm not going to bring in players who don't make the squad better, because we'll regret it by October."
