Malpas may have only had his feet under the table for a matter of days, but today it's been confirmed that two new players are already on their way to the County Ground.
It was confirmed this morning that former Watford players, Anthony McNamee and Moses Ashikodi have been snapped up for Malpas' squad.
Left-winger McNamee has been signed permanently for an undisclosed fee, while fellow Hornet Ashikodi will join the Robins on loan until the end of season.
20-year-old Ashikodi made his footballing debut for Millwall aged just 15, and has since played for England at youth levels.
And 24-year-old McNamee has also had an exciting career so far, having helped Watford get promoted to the Barclays Premiership in the 05/06 season.
The deals went through just in time for both players to be considered for the match against Nottingham Forest tomorrow.
