RESULT: Carlisle United 1 Swindon Town 1 Town scorer: Tudor-Jones 90 Carlisle scorer: Bridges 8
Owain Tudor-Jones might just have saved Swindon Town's season. The loanee midfielder rifled in a last-minute free-kick salvage what Danny Wilson described as a 'hugely significant point'.
"It was a massive moment," the manager said, "because we needed it so badly.
"Other results have gone against us [Brighton and Northampton both winning] and everyone has bunched up. It would have been extra hard to pick the players up if we'd lost."
Early set-back
The goal arrived after Swindon had dominated the second-half following a lacklustre first period in which Town conceded early on for the second successive game.
Michael Bridges' eighth minute effort, following a poor clearance by Gordon Greer, giving the home side, and fellow relegation-strugglers, a lead they defended en-masse until Tudor-Jones struck.
Swindon managing to waste all their best opportunities, with both the Carlisle goalkeeper and woodwork keeping Paynter, Robson-Kanu and Cox off the score-sheet.
Swindon remain in 17th place, four points off the drop-zone.
