Eyebrows, with Claire Guy
Eyebrows are often neglected where makeup is concerned. They complete the makeup, frame the face and fill in the gaps between the brow hairs.
Always purchase a brow pencil in a similar colour to your hair (if you are blonde use a light brown).
Using light strokes, go over your eyebrows with the pencil to fill them out. You can go over as many times as you like to achieve the desired look.
And, if you have areas missing due to over-plucking then you can lightly fill these areas in, too.
New treatments to try in Swindon
So let's look forward to summer with a new treatment now available at The Askim Clinic in Old Town - Teosyal Redensity - that minimises the effects of ageing that bright sunlight can expose!
What can it do for me?
As skin matures it loses plumpness, meaning, quite naturally, we get wrinkles and furrows across the face.
These grooves reduce the skin’s ability to reflect light, leading to the appearance of areas of dark shadows across the face. And we know how unflattering certain lighting can be!
Teosyal Redensity 1 is designed to improve this dilemma by doing four things; working on areas such as hydration, radiance, elasticity, wrinkles and fine lines.
Following the treatment, the skin should be densified, smooth and hydrated, and reflecting the light once again.
For optimum results ideally three sessions are required in three week intervals. Although you can see results following the first injection session.
Like father, like son!
Joshua Goldsworthy, of Goldsworthy’s Hairdressing Salon in Catherine Street has proven his skills after winning the title of "Pro Hair Live Extensionist of the Year" at the hair & beauty competition, held in Manchester earlier this month.
Having reached the final 5 with his photographic entry depicting some of his extensions work, Joshua and his fellow finalists were invited to the show to prove they had what it took to win.
Joshua had to work under the pressure of 4 top judges and a live audience, and his prize included a photo shoot with a top photographer to recreate his look for the front cover for the Professional Hairdresser Magazine.
Well known for creating fabulous looks with Balmain Extensions, it looks like Josh is following in his father Steven's footsteps!
Here's a video of Steven in action.
