Wheel deal at Next Generation

12 hour Spinathon raises money for British Heart Foundation

Next Generation members proved they had pedal power as they participated in a charity ‘Spinathon’ to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

An event that lasted 12 hours, attracted 32 members and completed a total of 291.05 miles/465.68K on the bike.

"It's nice to see so many members getting behind an initiative like this," commented Nicola, personal trainer at Next Generation.

"We started at 7am this morning and finished at 7pm and had 32 people participate.

"Not only is it a great way to get fit, but it's nice that we can raise money as well for a great charity.”

The health club based on Kembrey Park ended up raising £121 for the British Heart Foundation.
