North Wilts Hockey Club recruiting new members

 

North Wilts Hockey club, who play and train at the Dorcan Leisure centre on Tuesday evenings, are already planning for the 2010/2011 season as key players are leaving for university.

 

The club who has over 40 playing members are especially seeking ladies of League playing age.

 

The club also runs a junior section for boys and girls from 5 years up to 14.

 

Training continues through out the summer from 8pm until 9pm on Tuesday evenings

 

The club also have a very active social programme including a summer 6-a-side tournament to be held in July which includes an evening BBQ and disco.

Steve Pratt, North Wilts Hockey Club spokesman said:

 

“We work really hard to make hockey enjoyable for existing Members regardless of age group and make newcomers extremely welcome.“
