New look for Regent Circus redevelopment
New artist's impression shows what former Swindon College site could become
It's one of Swindon's biggest eyesores, but today plans look to be moving forward with the former Swindon College site.
On the same day the plans move from the public exhibition at the new central Library to the Civic Offices, a new artist's impression has also been released.

The £100 million redevelopment now includes a multi-screen cinema, a Morrisons’ supermarket and eight restaurants, 400 parking spaces and public open space.
The developers Ashfield Land and Parkridge have stated that they aim to submit a planning application in June.
“The public consultation has been a great success with many positive responses" commented James Digby, director of Ashfield Land.
“There has been great interest shown at the library, which clearly shows people are as excited as we are with the plans for redeveloping something that has become a bit of an eyesore in the town centre.”
Ashfield Land acquired the site in 2006 and previously outlined planning permission for a retail and leisure development but the scheme was abandoned when the property market collapsed due to the recession.
