Town centre pub re-opens with family fun day

 

Stilt walkers, walk-about jugglers and circus skills were just some the attractions at The Plum Tree pub in Regent Street today.

 

Now open under new management, the pub was offering shoppers the chance to stop off and enjoy their new-look coffee area, sports bar and pub food.

 

 

"There's something for everyone now," said partner Carl McCullogh, who has taken over the pub, alongside Mark Neilson and James Richmond.

 

"We've got a brand-new menu which offers really good quality food and a open-plan area at the front with wi-fi ideal for shoppers wanting a break or just meeting up." 

 

"It's a real, family-friendly pub ideal for the town centre."
