A 'Grande' night with Di Canio 

Fans get a dinner date with Swindon Town manager

It's surely every Town fans' dream - a night enjoying football chat, pizza and pasta with new manager Paolo Di Canio.

 

And that's exactly what was on at Fratello's Italian restaurant on Monday night.

 

Fans were given the chance to mingle with the new Town boss and his coaching staff in a pre-season meet and greet.

 

For three hours Town fans managed to mingle with Di Canio, assistant boss Fabrizio Piccareta, fitness coach Claudio Donatelli and goalkeeper coach Domenico Doardo.

“It's a great opportunity for fans to meet the new manager," commented restaurant’s co-owner Ricky Mazzotta.

 

“Not only was it a great setting with his Italian roots, but it allowed us to show off the restaurant as well.

 

"Many thanks to Paulo, his staff, the club and everyone for coming. I hope tonight's success is a sign of things to come!"
