New HongXin restaurant opens in West Swindon
Hundreds tucked in to a free banquet as the new HongXin restaurant opened in West Swindon on Sunday.
Now under completely new ownership, the restaurant, which was previously know as the Pagoda Palace and the Chinese Experience, and overlooks Peatmoor lagoon offers an oriental buffet style with over 120 dishes to choose from.
Swindon mayor Ray Ballman and local MP Justin Tomlinson were invited to officially welcome everyone on the first day, with entertainment from traditional Chinese drummers and lion dancing all adding to the celebration.
