Olympic Flower Power!

Roundabout all set to bloom in time for the Games

The roundabout at Transfer Bridges has been planted with a floral display in celebration of the London Olympics.

The Five Rings design - made up nearly 2,000 flowers and herbs, including marigolds, begonias and parsley - will come fully into bloom later next month and will be seen by motorists and train passengers passing through.

Torchbearer Damien Davis from Cricklade was given the honour of planting the last flower this morning.
