Rotary gather to choose the menu for Swindon's big charity ball
The most important stage of Swindon's biggest charity ball has been completed - choosing the menu!
The committee of the Rotary Club of Swindon gathered at The Marriott in Old Town to taste and discuss the three-course dinner & wine options with the hotel's head chef and manager.
The Rotary Glitter Ball in partnership with The Marriott and the Swindon Advertiser takes place on 11 May and is already sold-out.
2013 is its 25th year, in which time the annual event has helped raise over £640,000 for Swindon's good causes.
Last year money was given to Swindon Women’s Refuge, Therapeutic Work in Gardening in Swindon, the North Wilts Group of the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Swindon Therapy Centre for Multiple Sclerosis.
